As a Program Manager in the Open Source Community Strategy team within VMware’s OSPO, Stefka is working on guidelines and tools to foster community development and improving project health of VMware-Originated Open Source projects. Her work includes driving metrics that help automate the process of auditing the health of active projects, and monitoring and managing GitHub repositories, including proactively archiving projects that are not being updated and maintained. She has been working in the Software Development industry for the last 7 years and her experience has combined program-level tasks, process responsibilities and continuous improvement initiatives. Her background is in Management and Finance, which adds to her diverse experience and interests. She is also passionate about hiking, mountaineering, climbing, and is a mountain guide in her “free time".
