Ileriayo Adebiyi is a Senior Technical Consultant, currently specializing in Cloud and DevOps engineering. He holds a degree in Computer Science and several cloud engineering certifications, including (but not limited to) Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and credentials from the Linux Foundation.
He is the founder of cloudnativeafrica.io, and his commitment to advancing cloud-native technologies in Africa has earned him recognition from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), which named him an official CNCF Ambassador. He organizes the CNCF Lagos community group and co-organizes Kubernetes Community Days (KCD) Nigeria. Ileriayo leads various educational and community-driven initiatives, including writing, speaking, and hosting tech meetups. He has delivered talks to thousands of technical and non-technical audiences at both local and international conferences, including Open Source Africa, HashiTalks Africa, SUSECON23, Localhost, and CityJS.
He is an active contributor to free and open-source software and is the creator and lead maintainer of the widely used open-source project Markdown Badges, which has over 15,000 stars on GitHub.
