Cassie Jiun Seo is a public-interest technology specialist. Her expertise lies in responsible innovation and sustainable use of technology within volatile environments and tense geopolitical settings, particularly in the humanitarian, development, and migration complex. Currently, she has been working with the World Health Organization to advance digital health agendas and leverage open-source tools and communities for pandemic preparedness, translating WHO’s clinical and public health guidance into digital systems.Previously, she led the Digital Unit at the Norwegian Refugee Council, developing and deploying essential infrastructure and tools for large-scale humanitarian and climate interventions in both complex emergencies and protracted crises.
